What this site is for
The site answers one question per page about 1win in Nigeria: how to sign up, how the naira cashier works, what the bonus terms mean in money, how the sportsbook and the casino are laid out, and whether the operator’s documents say what they appear to say. Alongside those pages sit general guides to betting, such as odds, over/under, draw no bet, cash-out and bet slip codes, and a page on help with gambling problems.
Worked example
Every page follows the same order. A short answer comes first, then the detail with worked examples in naira, then a table of what our checks could not confirm. Readers who only need the answer can stop after the first box; readers who need to decide can read on to the limits.
How the information is gathered
The facts about 1win come from our own checks of 1win.ng, made on phones, the device this site is written for. The first check ran on 08.10.2026 in an Android browser; the second, on 13.10.2026, used Android and iPhone browser profiles and covered the app menu, the sportsbook and the casino catalogue; the third, on 14.10.2026, ran on an iPhone from a Nigerian connection and covered the cashier limits, the rules and the install window. No deposit, withdrawal or bet was made in any of them, so payout times are never presented as tested.
Each fact on a page carries one of five labels, from “Seen on site” to “Not checked”, and the scores come from six areas marked with the same four questions. Both are explained in our four-question scoring method.
What we do not publish
We do not name or compare other operators. We do not describe 1win as legal or licensed in our own words; we quote what its footer says and point to the rules of each state. We do not promise wins, and we do not suggest a deposit as a way of testing a site.
The editors
Femi Oladipo is the senior editor. He ran the phone checks of 1win.ng, took the screenshots and notes, wrote to live chat and writes the pages on this site. His part of each page is the description of what the screens showed and the worked naira examples built from them.

Before a page goes live she compares every figure about 1win with the check notes and screenshots, recalculates each sum, and checks that a fact labelled as stated by the site is not written as if we had tested it. Her name on a byline means that comparison has been done for that version of the page.
How the site is paid
1win-nigeria.ng earns a commission when a reader opens an account through one of its partner links. The reader pays nothing extra, and the commission is the same whatever a page says or scores. The promo code used on our pages, NAIJA1WIN, is tied to that partner arrangement. It leads to the standard welcome package and is not presented as adding anything beyond it.
Corrections and updates
When 1win.ng changes a screen described here, the page is updated and the date in its byline changes. If you find a figure that no longer matches the site, send a screenshot with the date to [email protected], as described on the page for reaching the editors; corrections are checked against the site before a page is changed.
