The 1win registration screen is short. It opens with a phone field already set to the +234 code and a password field, and the password must have at least 8 characters. Below them is the optional “Add promo code” link. There is no email field on the form we saw, no name field and no date-of-birth field, so the account starts with a number and a password only.

What pressing Register means
The button carries the consent. By pressing it you confirm that you are 18 or older and accept the Terms and the Privacy Policy, even though no checkbox asks for it. Read both documents before that tap rather than after, because the Terms include the identity rules that later decide your first withdrawal.
How to register on 1win in Nigeria, step by step
The route has five steps from the home screen, and they follow the form as it appeared on 08.10.
- Open 1win.ng in the phone browser and tap the registration button.
- Enter the phone number after the +234 code, without the leading zero of the local format.
- Choose a password of at least 8 characters that you do not use on any other site.
- Tap “Add promo code” if you want to enter a code, and type it exactly.
- Press Register.
The form showed no separate step for confirming the number. Whether a code arrives by SMS after pressing Register was not part of our check, since the sign-up was not completed.

1win app registration and other routes
For 1win app registration, the site mentions no separate app account. The Android app is offered from the “1win for Android” menu item and the iPhone version is a home-screen web app added through Safari. On the iPhone the web app is the site itself in a separate window, so its sign-up form is the one described above. Inside the Android app the sign-up screen was not tested.
An email route did not appear on the registration form we saw. The login form does have an Email tab, as the site describes it, which is useful once an email address is on the account. Signing in later is covered in the Phone and Email login tabs.
One person should have one account. The phone number ties the account to a SIM, and the site states that password recovery sends a code by phone or e-mail, so a number that belongs to a relative makes later recovery depend on that person.
After you press Register
The account is in naira, and deposits go through the cashier; we did not finish a sign-up, so the first funding was not seen. The cashier lists wallets, Paystack and Flutterwave options, USSD and Nigerian cards. On 14.10 every entry printed a range from ₦1,000, up to ₦250,000 on most entries and ₦500,000 on the two Flutterwave ones.
The identity check comes before the first withdrawal
Registration does not include an identity check, but withdrawal does. Pressing “Withdraw” opens an “Identity verification” screen, and only after it does the withdrawal form appear. The Terms ask for proof of address no older than three months, and support named a passport, driver’s licence or residence permit as identity documents. Two things save trouble later. Register with a number you will keep, because the Phone tab knows only that number. And make sure the details on your documents match what you later enter in the profile.
Common sign-up problems
Four checks cover the problems a reader can fix alone.
- Number rejected: it may already be tied to an account. Try signing in, or use “Forgot your password?”.
- Password too short: the form needs at least 8 characters.
- Promo code not accepted: check the spelling and capitals; the field is optional, so the account can be opened without it.
- Age: pressing Register confirms you are 18 or older, so anyone younger cannot accept the Terms.
If a screen blocks you and none of these fit, live chat is the route; the site has no help centre, and its only FAQ covers bonuses.
